C A CHP Plant consist of a turbine unit the exhaust gases of which are used to raise steam in a steam generator; the gases leaving the steam generator than pass through a heat exchange to heat water for space heating before entering the chimney. In the steam cycle steam is bled off at an intermediate pressure and passed to a de-aerator/ Open-feed heater, the below and neglecting the mass flow rate of fuel, feed-pump work, and all thermal and pressure losses not listed below, calculate.

i The required mass flow rate of stream

ii The total power out put.

iii The overall efficiency defined as the total use full energy, divided by the fuel energy input
