A. What are the different types of machine drawing?

B. What are two system for placing dimension on a drawing? Illustrate your answer with sketches.

A. Draw a circle of 125mm diameter and draw in it. Five equal circle, each touching the given circle and two other circles.

B. A thin rod AB, 100 mm long revolves uniformly about its centre O. During its one revolution a point P move along AB at uniform speed A to B. Draw the locus of P.



Q3.

A. A rectangular tank 4 m high is strengthened by four stay rods one at each corner, connecting the top corner to a point in the bottom 0.7 m and 1.2 m from the sides of the tank. Find graphically the length of the rod required and the angles it makes with surface of the tank.

B. Draw a rhombus of diagonal 100 mm and 60 mm long, with the longer diagonal horizontal. The figures is the top view of a square of 100 mm long diagonal, with a corner on the ground. Draw its front view and determine the angle which its surface makes with the ground.
